Where the numbers come from
Most numbers come from the companies' own filings with the SEC (EDGAR). We read them, check them and show them, but filings can be wrong, late or restated, and our reading of them can contain errors. Where a filing does not give a number, we show "—" instead of a guess. Prices are delayed, not real-time.
Notes, summaries and tools
Business overviews, recent developments and deep dives are written summaries of public filings. They are opinion, not a forecast, and they can leave out things that matter to you. Calculators, projections and scenario tools only show what follows from the numbers you enter. They do not predict what a company or a share price will do.
Past results
A company's past results do not tell you its future results. Investing in shares can lose money, including all of the money you put in.

Before you act on any number or note, check it against the company's own filing (each page links to it), or talk to a qualified professional.
